On Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 12:28 am, Tpr. E. Evans stopped a vehicle for having an inoperable tag light on Route 235 at Town Creek Drive, California. The driver was identified as George Francis Butler, 56, of Glen Burnie. A check through MVA indicated Mr. Butler’s license was suspended. A search, incident to arrest, was conducted and a bag of crack cocaine was found in his pants pocket. A smoking device containing marijuana was located in the vehicle’s center console. Mr. Butler was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review. (0682009154)
On Tuesday, August 23, 2006 at 11:30 am, Tpr. M. Grimes arrested David Franklin Morgan, 57, of Mechanicsville, on a True Bill Indictment for 3rd degree sex offense. Mr. Morgan was taken to the detention center and held without bond. (18K06000337)
On Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 12:30 am, Tpr. D. Brill arrested Anthony Tyrone Munford Sr, 32, of Columbia MD, on a Howard County Bench Warrant for violation of probation on an assault charge. On Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 4:00 am, Tpr. D. Brill arrested Charles Roger Wathen, 25, of Ridge, on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court on a driving while suspended charge. He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review. (DU39886)
