The St. Mary's County Department of Recreation, Parks and Community Services announced today that the Great Mills Swimming Pool will be closed for seasonal maintenance from Tuesday, September 5 to Sunday, September 17, 2006. The pool will reopen for normal hours of operation on Monday, September 18, at 10:00 am. The pool is located at 21100 Great Mills Road in Great Mills.
During this time, the pool's air supported "bubble" structure will be installed, making the pool an indoor facility through May 13, 2007.
