Lexington Park Woman Allegedly Stabs Boyfriend in Drunken Brawl


According to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, deputies recently responded to a 911 call for a reported stabbing at a Lexington Park residence. Deputies found that Mary Agnes Morgan (Age 36 of Lexington Park) was intoxicated and engaged in a verbal dispute with her boyfriend, Marshall Rothwell. Upon returning home, Suspect Morgan and Victim Rothwell began to argue. This led to the Suspect obtaining a knife from the kitchen area and stabbing the Victim twice.

The wounds were to the upper chest and arm. The Victim was treated on the scene by the Lexington Park Rescue and refused any additional medical treatment.

Suspect Morgan was arrested by Deputy Michael George and charged with Assault First and Second Degree. Her current bond status is unknown.
