ARMED ROBBERY: On Aug. 5 at 12:43 a.m., Charles County Sheriffs officers responded to Comfort Suites Hotel located at 11765 Business Park Drive in Waldorf for the hold-up alarm. Investigation revealed the suspect confronted the employee, a 52-year-old Waldorf man, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled through the front door to an awaiting vehicle, which was last seen traveling northbound on Crain Highway. The suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 30 years of age. He was wearing black jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask. The employee was not injured. ARMED ROBBERY: On Aug. 3 at 10:30 p.m., Charles County Sheriffs officers responded to a residence in the 4400 block of Quillen Circle in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery. Investigation revealed the victim, a 34-year-old Waldorf man, was delivering Chinese food to the residence when he was approached by two male suspects who brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspects fled on foot behind the residence. Cpl. R. Cuyler and her K9 partner checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
