DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 7/24/2006, approximately 11:15 PM, two subjects were observed using a baseball bat to damage the window of a vehicle parked at the Prince Frederick Taco Bell. TPR Ewig is handling the investigation.
BURGLARY: During the overnight hours of 7/26/2006, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a residence and shed on Broomes Island Rd., Port Republic, and removed $4,000.00 in power tools. TPR Chirichella is handling the investigation.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: During the overnight hours of 7/27/2006, an unknown culprit repeatedly struck the windshield of a vehicle parked on Tomahawk Trl., Lusby. TFC Lass is handling the investigation.
THEFT/MDOP: During the overnight hours of 7/27/2006, an unknown culprit entered a vehicle on Big Sandy Run Rd., Lusby, and removed a pair of sunglasses, 2 tire gauges, ear protectors, and the rearview mirror. The culprit also damaged the windshield with an unknown object. TPR Stern is handling the investigation.
POSSESSION OF CRACK-COCAINE: On 7-31, 12:48 AM, TFC Keen was on routine patrol when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the Hallowing Point Boat Ramp. A K-9 search was conducted and a CDS smoking device containing suspected crack-cocaine was recovered from the vehicle. Arrested at that time for possession of crack-cocaine and CDS paraphernalia was Caroline Ann Proctor, 39, of Hughesville. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 8-1, 1:20 AM, TFC Keen was on routine patrol when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the Solomons Point Marina. Upon contact with an occupant of the vehicle, TFC Keen observed a CDS smoking device, containing suspected marijuana, on the center console in plain view. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were Qu H. Steves, 37, of Fredericksburg, VA, and Phuc Ngoc Huynh, 26, of Spotsylvania, VA. After processing, they were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
