MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


On Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 10:10 pm, TFC Rossignol served William Maldonado III, 19, of Hughesville, with a criminal summons to appear in court on an assault charge. The charge resulted from an altercation on July 10, 2006 at the Golden Beach Community Beach. The victim advised that Mr. Maldonado spit in his face and tore his shirt. (1Q00034028)

On Friday, July 14, 2006 at 10:20 pm, Tpr. White served Joseph Glenn Mattingly, 49, of Morganza, with a criminal summons to appear in court on an assault charge. The charge resulted from an altercation which occurred on June 28, 2006 with Shane Alderson. (5Q00033976)

On Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 9:00 am, Tpr. White served Shane Houston Alderson, 20, of Morganza, with a criminal summons to appear in court on an assault charge. The charge resulted from an altercation which occurred on June 28, 2006 with Joseph Mattingly. (6Q00033977)

On Friday, July 14, 2006 at 1105 pm, Cpl. Vanhoy served criminal summonses for trespassing on Andrew Paul Tiffany, 20, of California and Eric Michael Washington, 20, of Lexington Park. These charges resulted when Cpl. Vanhoy observed them enter the Stanley Martin construction site at Dahlia Park at Wildewood.

On Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 4:13 pm, TFC Nims stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 235 at King James Parkway, Ridge. The driver was identified as a 17 year old. A pack of cigarettes were observed on the seat. A search revealed another pack in his pants pocket. The juvenile was charged with possession of a tobacco product and released to a guardian. On Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 11:00 pm, TFC Nims was patrolling Washington Street, Leonardtown, when he observed a male run behind a closed establishment. As TFC Nims approached the building the male crouched behind a truck. The male then fled. After a short foot chase the male was apprehended and identified as 13 year old. The juvenile was found to be in possession of a pack of Blunt Cigarettes. He was charged with possession of a tobacco product and released to his father. (0682007699)

On Monday, July 17, 2006 at 9:00 pm, TFC Fleetwood responded to Mar A Lee Court, Mechanicsville, for a reported assault. The victim advised that Benjamin Ricardo Bowling, 46, of Mechanicsville, grabbed her arm during an altercation, causing a minor injury. No medical treatment was sought. Mr. Bowling was arrested and charged with assault. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review. (0682007695)

On Monday, July 17, 2006 at 11:50 pm, Tpr. Evans responded to Tomey Court, Leonardtown, for a reported assault. The victim advised that Janny Lanngor Cummings, 50, of Leonardtown, threw a glass and hit him in the head and then scratched him with her fingernails. The victim’s arms were bleeding, he refused medical treatment. Ms. Cummings was arrested and charged with assault. She was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review. (0682007774)

On Sunday, July 16, 2006 at 7:30 am, while responding to a disturbance call on Piney Point Rd, Piney Point, TFC Laney was flagged down by a female. The female, Tina Renee Donaldson, 38, of Mechanicsville, began yelling profanities and yelling that she wanted her sister out of the mother’s house. Ms. Donaldson refused to give TFC Laney her name. She continued yelling profanities at the officers on the scene. Ms. Donaldson was placed under arrest. TFC Laney responded to the initial call on Piney Point Rd. The occupants of the residence advised that they had been attempting to get Ms. Donaldson out of their residence after she sprayed beer throughout the house. Ms. Donaldson was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. She was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review. (0682007717)

On July 2, 2006, TFC Rossignol responded to Valley Court, Lexington Park, for a reported assault. Each party accused the other of assault and destruction of property. Martell Deonta Dickerson, 19, of Great Mills, and Tiffany Danielle Thompson, 39, of Lexington Park, were each served with a criminal summons to appear in court on assault and destruction of property charges on July 18, 2006. On Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 1:00 pm, TFC Rossignol served Marie Elizabeth Chase, 20, of Lexington Park with a criminal summons to appear in court for an assault charge. The charge resulted from an altercation on June 29, 2006 when the victim advised that Ms. Chase grabbed her hair from behind and threw her to the ground. This caused a small abrasion to the victim’s back. (0Q00034020)

On Friday, July 21, 2006 at 3:30 pm, TFC Quade arrested Tony Andrew Messineo, 18, of Chaptico, on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court for a driving while suspended charge. Mr. Messineo was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held on no bond. (DU40290)

On Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 10:00 am, Tpr. Shughart served James Edward Breeden, 18, of Mechanicsville, with a criminal summons to appear in court on charges of assault and destruction of property. These charges resulted from an altercation on June 16, 2006 when Mr. Breeden kicked the victim’s vehicle, causing damage, and throwing a book, which hit the victim in the back. (1Q00034119)

On Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 12:10 am, TFC Laney arrested Dennis Lee Gross, 26, of Lexington Park, on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court for an assault charge. Mr. Gross was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held on no bond. (2Q00028849)
