STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE: Sometime between 12:01 a.m. July 15 and 10:30 a.m. July 17, suspect(s) stole a gray 1992 Lincoln Town Car from the 12500 block of Mattawoman Drive in Waldorf. The vehicle has driver’s side damage and displayed Maryland tags LTT 497. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer R. Kimble is investigating.

THEFT: On July 12 at 8:30 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Spencer’s located at 11110 Mall Circle in Waldorf for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed a 16-year-old girl of Waldorf concealed merchandise and exited the store without paying for it. An employee of the store detained her and called the police. She was arrested and charged with theft less than $100. She was released to the custody of a parent. Officer R. Kimble is investigating.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On July 12 at 4 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to C. Paul Barnhart Elementary School located at 4800 Lancaster Circle in Waldorf for the report of a fire. Investigation revealed a trash container was set on fire by a 13-year-old Waldorf boy. The fire was extinguished by school officials. The boy was arrested and charged with second degree malicious burning, burning a trash container and destruction of property less than $500. He was released to the custody of a parent. Officer R. Kimble investigated.
