MSP Reports for Calvert County


THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 6-13, between 1:00 PM and 1:49 PM, an unknown culprit entered a vehicle parked at the Prince Frederick Wal-Mart and removed a wallet. CIT is handling the investigation.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 6-14, 12:01 PM, an employee of Patuxent Elementary School reported her vehicle broken into and purse removed. Investigation revealed that the unknown culprit then used the victim’s stolen ATM card to make two withdrawals at the Lusby branch of Bank of America. CIT is handling the investigation.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 6-15, between 11:45 AM and 12:00 PM, an unknown culprit entered a vehicle parked at Mutual Elementary School and removed a purse/backpack. CIT is handling the investigation.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 6-15, between 7:00 AM and 3:50 PM, an unknown culprit entered a vehicle parked at Southern Middle School and removed a cable box and a make-up bag. CIT is handling the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On 6-19, an employee of Calvert Middle School reported that an unknown culprit had destroyed a brick wall by unknown means. TPR Whitman is handling the investigation.

THEFT FROM VEHICLES: On 6-20, 3:25 AM, Plateau Rd., St. Leonard, a suspect was observed by a witness entering a vehicle. When confronted by the witness, the culprit fled the area on foot. Investigation revealed that 2 vehicles had been entered and the owner’s manuals and a small amount of currency had been stolen. The suspect was described as a white male, 6-00, 150 lbs., thin build, with short hair. TFC Johns is handling the investigation.
