On Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 8:26 am, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 5 at Flora Corner Road in Mechanicsville. Upon contact with the driver, David Lee Boley, 32, of Mechanicsville, an odor of marijuana was detected. A probable cause search revealed a bag of marijuana and a smoking device containing burnt marijuana. Mr. Boley was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was taken to the St. Marys County Detention Center and held pending a bond hearing. On Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 1:39 pm, TFC A. Rossignol responded to Oxford Court, Lexington Park, for a reported stolen motorcycle. The victim advised that between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm, his Ducati Monster motorcycle had been stolen from his residence. The vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as stolen. (0682006448)
On Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 8:50 pm, TFC T. Quade was patrolling Route 235 in the area of Millstone Landing Road when he observed a vehicle revving its engine and spinning wheels. The vehicle was stopped and the operator identified as Colin Shayne Madison, 19, of Lexington Park. A consent search revealed prescription medication for which he did not have a prescription. Several unknown pills were confiscated and sent to MSP Forensic Sciences Lab for analysis. Mr. Madison was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was taken to the St. Marys County Detention Center and held pending a bond hearing. (0682006464)
On Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 11:30 am, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle for speeding on Kavanagh Road in Mechanicsville. The driver was identified as James Roy Chase 2nd, 19, of Mechanicsville. The passenger was identified as Kalvin Jermaine Young, 28, of Mechanicsville. Upon contact with the occupants, a strong odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, marijuana was located on Mr. Chases pants and on the driver seat. A bag of marijuana fell out of Mr. Youngs pants during a search. Both were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. They were taken to the St. Marys County Detention Center and held pending a bond review. (0682006482)
On Thursday, June 15, 2006, Tpr. G. White arrested Larry Wayne Adkins, 21, of Hollywood, on a True Bill Indictment for theft and possession of a stolen handgun. Mr. Adkins was taken to the St. Marys County Detention Center and held on no bond. (18K06000203)
On Friday, June 16, 2006 at 11:30 am, TFC A. Rossignol responded to the 26000 block of Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, for a reported burglary. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) attempted to pry and kick the door open to a storage shed. The attempts were unsuccessful. The investigation is continuing. (0682006517)

On Friday, June 16, 2006 at 9:20 pm, TFC J. Linger arrested Antonio W. Chase, 19, of Lexington Park, on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court for charges of making a false statement to police and, obstructing and hindering an investigation. On Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 4:00 pm, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle on Kavanagh Road prior to Laurel Gove Road, Mechanicsville, for failing to give signal prior to turn, having a cracked windshield, and a license plate bracket covering the expiration stickers. The driver was identified as Gary Alan Edinger, 49, of Mechanicsville. A check through MVA indicated his drivers license was suspended. Mr. Edinger was placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle revealed brass knuckles in the center console and a 12 inch dagger on the passenger seat. Mr. Edinger was charged with two counts of concealed deadly weapon, and driving while suspended. He was taken to the St. Marys County Detention Center and held pending a bail review. (0682006563)
On Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 6:50 pm, Troopers, Deputies and medical personnel responded to St. Marys State Park, Callaway, for a reported missing juvenile. As TFC A. Rossignol entered the park, he observed a young boy exiting a trail. The juvenile advised that he became separated from his mother while bike riding. The juvenile was identified as the child reported missing. He was checked out by medical personnel, who determined that he sustained no injuries. The mother arrived and took custody. (0682006566)
