On 6/14/2006 Deputy T. Reese of the St. Mary's Sheriffs Department responded to a residence on Breton View Dr., Leonardtown for a report of an assault. The investigation revealed that Christopher L. Firestein, age 36, of Leonardtown was involved in an altercation with his former girlfriend. Firestein allegedly scratched the victims chest, pulled portions of her hair out, and then choked the victim during the altercation.
Firestein, who was intoxicated, was placed under arrest without incident, transported to the Detention Center, charged with Assault First Degree and Assault Second Degree and incarcerated pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
