St. Mary's Detectives Execute Warrant for Drugs in The Park

Detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division executed a Search and Seizure Warrant on June 9, 2006 on a Lexington Park residence. Suspect Kenneth Gemayl Purnell (Age 25 of Lexington Park) already had an open warrant for CDS violations and was immediately taken into custody.

A search of the home revealed 132 grams of marijuana, scales and related paraphernalia. He was charged with possession of marijuana and a review with the State's Attorney's Office is pending.
