Charles County Sheriff's Report: Drugs & Recovered Vehicle


POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On June 8 at 10:49 a.m., Officer S. Chandler of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop for failure to attach front tags in the 6300 block of Crain Highway in La Plata. Investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, David Maurice Neal, II, 19, of Temple Hills, was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: On June 3 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Officer J. Timko was patrolling a parking lot the 12000 block of Vivian Adams Drive in Waldorf when he observed a blue 1992 Plymouth Acclaim sedan with a damaged ignition. Investigation revealed the vehicle was reported stolen in Prince George’s County on May 31. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777.
