On Sunday, May 28, at 8:17 p.m., Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) charged Daniel Lee Crist, 44, of Dunkirk for operating a motor vessel while under the influence of alcohol on the Chesapeake Bay near Chesapeake Beach. That same Saturday, at 9:40 p.m., NRP charged Andrew Ray Gilley, 41, of Broomes Island for operating a motor vessel while under the influence of alcohol in Solomon's Harbor on the Patuxent River. These arrests were a result of one of the many alcohol saturation patrols conducted during the holiday weekend by NRP.
