POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 5-24, 10:10 PM, Rt. 261, Chesapeake Beach, TFC Koch stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Eric Lloyd Marlowe, 22, of Chesapeake Beach, was subsequently arrested for DUI. A computer check also revealed that Mr. Marlowe was driving on a suspended license and was wanted on an open warrant by the CCSO. Incident to arrest, a CDS smoking device containing suspected marijuana was located on his person. As well as the DUI, Mr. Marlowe was charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
BURGLARY: On 5-17, a resident of Holly Dr., Lusby, reported that an unknown culprit had entered his shed and removed a Troy Bilt pressure washer. TFC Lashley is handling the investigation.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 5-28, 9:46 AM, Rt. 2/4, Port Republic, TFC Murphy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. While conversing with the occupants, a consent search was given and a baggie of suspected marijuana and rolling papers were recovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was Judith Venetia Chambers, 38, of Lusby. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
POSSESSION OF ECSTASY: On 5-28, 2:57 AM, Rt. 2, Owings, TPR Bigham stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the occupants, TPR Bigham detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and 3 suspected Ecstasy tablets were found in the possession of Adrienne Nickesha Gibbs, 26, of Annapolis. Continuing the search, no other CDS was located. Ms. Gibbs was then placed under arrest for possession of Ecstasy. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
