THEFT: On May 28 at 4 p.m., Officer J. Timko of the Charles County Sheriffs Office responded to Sunglass Hut, located at 11110 Mall Circle in Waldorf, for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed suspect(s) used store keys to enter a locked cabinet and steal 87 pairs of sunglasses of varying brands including Ray Ban, Revo, Kenneth Kole, Arnette, Moschino, Anne Klein, Versaci, Bolle, Oakley and Maui Jim. On May 9, the business reported the keys stolen to the Sheriffs Office but it is unknown if the suspect in that investigation returned to steal the sunglasses. ROBBERY: On May 25 at 12:29 p.m., Charles County Sheriffs officers responded to a residence in the 11700 block of Oak Manor Drive in Waldorf for the report of a robbery. Investigation revealed a 32-year-old Waldorf man was delivering food to a residence when he was approached by a male suspect in front of the residence. While the victim was talking to the first male suspect, another male suspect walk up and both suspects punched the victim in the face. Both suspects took the food and fled the area. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim sustained minor injuries but declined medical attention. Both suspects are described as black males about 19 years of age with slim builds and are 5 feet 9 inches tall. One suspect was wearing a white T-shirt. BURGLARY: On May 24 at 7:25 p.m., Charles County Sheriffs officers responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Wilson Road in Waldorf for the report of a burglary. Investigation revealed suspect(s) forced entry into the backyard by breaking a rear gate and then forced entry into the residence through a rear sliding glass door. They stole jewelry and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriffs Office at 301-932-7777. Officer A. Celia is investigating.
