MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


On Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 2:29 am, TFC J. Fleetwood served Jasmyne Flower O’Conner, 28, of Lexington Park, with a criminal summons to appear in court to answer to charges of Theft and Destruction of Property. These charges resulted from an investigation at the Charlotte Hall McDonalds on April 25, 2006. (0682004538, 6Q00033452)

On Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 9:15 am, TFC A. Rossignol stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 235 at Rescue Lane in Hollywood. Upon contact with the driver, David Phillip Lynch, 34, of Great Mills, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. When Mr. Lynch exited his vehicle, to perform field sobriety tests, marijuana was observed on the driver’s seat. Mr. Lynch was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review. (0682005349)

On Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 11:20 am, TFC J. Linger attempted to stop a vehicle for impeding traffic on Route 235 south of Route 5 in Mechanicville. As the vehicle pulled onto the shoulder the driver was observed reaching toward the center/passenger area. The driver continued on the shoulder. After a short distance the driver, Robert Allan Krell, 22, of Charlotte Hall, stopped. A check through MVA indicated Mr. Krell’s driving privilege was suspended and revoked. A search incident to arrest, revealed a smoking device with burnt cocaine residue in the center console. Mr. Krell was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Driving while suspended, and Driving while revoked. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review. (0682005351)

On Friday, May 19, 2006 at 10:22 pm, Tpr. G. White responded to Arlington Drive, Mechanicsville, for a reported motor vehicle accident. Investigation revealed that Lawrence Anthony Bollen, 44, of Mechanicsville, had taken a neighbor’s vehicle, without permission, and backed into the woods. While investigating the accident, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on Mr. Bollen’s breath. Mr. Bollen was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and DUI. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review. (0682005418)

On Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 9:30 am, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle for not having a front bumper and for not displaying a front tag, on Route 246 at Route 5 in Lexington Park. Upon contact with the driver, Angela Marie Covington, 25 of Park Hall, an odor of burnt marijuana was detected. A probable cause search revealed a burnt “roach” on the passenger seat. Ms. Covington was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Marijuana. She was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond hearing. (0682005430)

On Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 10:18 am, TFC S. Van Bennekum served Kevin Laungayan Lee, 27, of Lexington Park, with a criminal summons to appear in court to answer to a Trespassing charge at the Wildewood Swim Club. (0682004778, 4Q00033457)

On Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 4:20 pm, TFC T. Quade arrested Mark Charles Lipscomb, 40, of Bowie, on a District Court Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court for his violation of probation hearing. Mr. Lipscomb was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held without bail. (CS27904)

On Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 9:08 pm, TFC R. Rezza arrested Audrey Elizabeth Swann, 37, of Chaptico, on a District Court Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to a charge of uttering a bad check. Ms. Swann was taken to the St. Mary’s Detention Center and held until posting a $3,500 bail. (4Q00033009)

On Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 8:32 am, TFC J. Linger arrested Galen C. Everhart, 27, on a Calvert County District Court Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to charges of driving while revoked and driving while suspended. Mr. Everhart was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held until posting a $5,000 bail. (DY23738)

On Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 11:50 pm, TFC L. Nims and Tpr. G. White stopped a vehicle for speeding on Bech Road at Route 235 in Hollywood. Upon contact with the driver, Lauren Ashley Krikstan, 18, of Indian Head, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. Ms. Krikstan was subsequently arrested for DUI. A search incident to arrest revealed numerous bottles of beer in the vehicle, and cigarettes in her purse. Ms. Krikstan was charged on civil citation with Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage while under 21 and Possession of a Tobacco product while under age. A 17 year old female passenger was also found to have been drinking an alcoholic beverage. The juvenile was charged with Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage while under 21 years old. Ms. Krikstan was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention and held pending a bond review. The juvenile was released into the custody of a parent. (IR0682005500)
