Charles Sheriff Looking for Michael David Turriff


The Charles County Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating Michael David Turriff, who is wanted for theft of large quantities of copper wire. Turriff has worked at several construction-related businesses in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. He poses as an employee of Medallion Security and Beltway Wire and has made fraudulent purchases where he uses the companies' accounts, resulting in more than $200,000 in losses to the businesses.

Turriff is a 41-year-old white male, is 5 feet 8 inches and weighs 180 pounds. He has tattoos on both legs and on his back. He was last known to reside on Camelot Drive in Pomfret and operates a 1993 Red Jeep Cherokee Laredo with Maryland tags 664M384.
