WASHINGTON, DC-On Saturday, April 29, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (D-MD) will travel throughout the Fifth Congressional District to present Rebuilding Together/Christmas in April Chapter Presidents with a total of $15,000 from the Fannie Mae Foundation in support of the annual "blitz day" to assist the local chapters in carrying out their mission.
Fannie Mae will provide this impressive funding to Rebuilding Together/Christmas in April as a result of Congressman Hoyer's advocacy on their behalf and in support of the 5th District's strong chapters.
Rebuilding Together with Christmas in April is the largest volunteer home rehabilitation organization in America and serves the poor, elderly and physically challenged by restoring safety, warmth and security in their homes.
