MSP Reports for St. Mary's


On Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 7:06 pm, TFC M. Moore responded to Galley Lane, Lexington Park, for a reported subject with a gun. Immediately upon arrival, a subject, later identified as Erick Benjamin Dean, 24, of Lexington Park, walked out of a residence with a .22 cal. rifle in his hands. Mr. Dean placed the rifle on the ground when instructed to do so. Investigation revealed that Mr. Dean had point the rifle, out of an upstairs window, towards kids in the area. Mr. Dean was arrested and charged with Assault and Reckless Endangerment. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review. (0682004283)

On Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 10:10 am, TFC T. Quade arrested Patrick A. Gayle Jr., 18, of California, on a Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to a charge of prostitution. Mr. Gayle was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held until posting a $3,500 bail. (5Q00033178)

On Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 12:37 am, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle on Golden Beach Rd at Jane Gay Drive, Mechanicsville, for having an inoperable tag light. Upon contact with the driver, La Shonda Deneece Morris, 19, of Mechanicsville, an odor of burnt marijuana was detected. A probable cause search was conducted. A partially burnt marijuana cigar was located in the driver side door pocket. Ms. Morris was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. She was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review. (0682004291)

On Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 2:06 pm, TFC S. Van Bennekum served Molly Mary Lorraine Hewitt, 27, of Leonardtown, with a Carroll County District Court Summons to appear in court to answer to Theft and Bad Check charges. (4S00036124)

On Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11:00 pm, TFC A. Rossignol responded to Wynne Road, Ridge, for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed that Billie Jo Reed, 33, of Ridge, was involved in an argument with the victim. When the victim attempted to leave the residence, Ms. Reed grabbed the victim around the neck and tore his shirt. Lacerations were observed on the victim’s chest. Ms. Reed was arrested and charged with Assault. She was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review. (0682004334)

On Friday, April 21, 2006 at 1:04 am, Tpr. T. Long arrested Shawn Christopher Henderson, 25, of Ridge, on a Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to a driving while suspended charge. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held until posting a $3,500 bail. (DX95257)

On Friday, April 21, 2006 at 1:52 am, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle on Route 235 at Town Creek Drive, California, for having an inoperable tag light. Upon contact with the driver, Richard Emanuel Guy, 21, of Lexington Park, an odor of burnt marijuana was detected. When advised about the odor, Mr. Guy handed TFC Linger a partially burnt marijuana “roach.” Mr. Guy was placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle revealed a bag in between the front passenger seat and door which contained a ceramic smoking device with burnt marijuana. The passenger, Brittany Foxwell Burch, 20, of Solomons, was arrested. Both were charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. They were taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review. (0682004341)

On Friday, April 21, 2006 at 3:15 am, TFC A. Rossignol arrested Grant Andrew McClure Jr., 28, on a Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to a DUI charge. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held on no bond. (DV50726)

On Friday, April 21, 2006 at 10:30 am, TFC R. Rezza responded to the 29000 block of Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that 11 Frasier Photinia plants (ornamental bushes with oval, waxy green leaves approximately 3” x 1” in size) had been pulled out of the ground and taken. Estimated loss: $220. (0682004352)

On Friday, April 21, 2006, TFC J. Linger served Kristopher William Cusick, 24, at the Detention Center, with a True Bill Indictment for Escape and Violation of a Work Release Agreement. Mr. Cusick is being held on no bond. (18-K-06-000184)

On Friday, April 21, 2006 at 5:30 pm, TFC P. Trossbach arrested James L. Scriber, 39, of Lexington Park on a Bench Warrant for Failing to pay a Deferred Payment of $500. He was held at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center until posting a $500 bail. (1Q00031830)

On Friday, April 21, 2006 at 5:55 pm, TFC P. Trossbach arrested John Frederick Miller III, 41, of Lexington Park, on a Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to a driving while suspended charge. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held on no bond. (DU39935)

On Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 10:28 am, TFC R. Rezza served William E. Barnes Jr., 19, of Leonardtown, with a Show Cause Order to appear in court to answer to a Violation of Probation Charge.

On Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 12:40 am, TFC M. Moore arrested Jeremiah Jermaine Cooper, 34, of Lexington Park, on a Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court to answer to a charge of driving while suspended. Mr. Cooper was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held until posting a $3,500 bail. (DX95217)

On Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 2:30 pm, Tpr. T. Long responded to Darcy Lane, Lexington Park, for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed that the suspect and victim had returned home, after a night of drinking, and began arguing. The verbal altercation became physical when the suspect pushed the victim into the TV. The victim complained that she had no feeling in her legs. She was transported to the hospital, treated and released. Investigation continuing with charges pending. (0682004392)

On Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 11:09 pm, TFC P. Trossbach served Keith L. Mackall, 43, of Lexington Park, with a Show Cause Order to appear in court to answer to a Violation of Probation charge. (3Q00030887)
