POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 4-2, 5:58 PM, Rt. 2/4, Solomons, TFC Bowling stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle, TFC Bowling detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and a baggie of suspected marijuana and a CDS smoking device were recovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was Michael Harry Coyle, 18, of St. Leonard. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 4-5, 11:08 AM, Rt. 4, Dunkirk, TPR Bigham stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, Jeremiah Scott Piper, 19, of Greencastle, PA, TPR Bigham detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana was recovered. Mr. Piper was then placed under arrest for possession of marijuana. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On 4-6, 4:40 AM, TPR Ewig responded to the area of Rt. 260 @ Rt. 4, Dunkirk, for the report of a stolen vehicle. A witness had observed the vehicle being stolen from a driveway on Chesapeake Beach Rd., Chesapeake Beach. TPR Ewig observed the vehicle and stopped it just north of the county line. Arrested at that time for motor vehicle theft and theft (+$500) was Franklin Ciero Bryant, Jr., 39, of Chesapeake Beach. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 4-9, 7:30 PM, Rt. 2, Owings, TPR Bigham stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the occupants, TPR Bigham detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was recovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia was Sharon Ann Washington, 53, of Washington, DC. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.
