St. Mary's Commissioner's to Hold Budget Public Hearings on April 25


The Board of County Commissioners for St. Mary's County will hold budget hearings to present information about the Recommended FY2007 Operating and Capital Budget, including the hearing required regarding the Constant Yield Tax Rate. The hearings will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at Great Mills High School, 21130 Great Mills Road. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the hearings will begin at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend and participate. Any reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities should be requested by contacting the Public Information Office at 301-475-4200 ext. 1340.

Citizens planning to make comments are required to sign-in before the hearing begins and comments are limited to three minutes per person. Written comments can be submitted at the hearing or mailed to:

Please submit comments by May 11th for consideration during budget work sessions scheduled in May.
