Drug Arrests in Charles County


POSSESSION OF CDS: 03/11/06 12:58 a.m. A vehicle traveling southbound on MD Rt. 5 at Vivian Adams Drive was stopped for the passenger throwing an object out of the window. While the Trooper was walking to the vehicle, the passenger, Gregory Gerrell Goldring, 27 years, of Port Tobacco, was observed making movements in an attempt to conceal something. Mr. Goldring was asked to exit the vehicle and when he did he attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended and a probable cause search of his person revealed suspected marijuana, suspected cocaine and a large amount of money. Mr. Goldring was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession not marijuana, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. TFC J. Edelen conducted this investigation.

POSSESSION OF CDS: 03/15/06 6:55 p.m. Two vehicles were observed entering the La Plata Barrack parking lot at a high rate of speed. Upon contact with one of the drivers an odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver, a male juvenile, 17 years, of Port Tobacco, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released to his parent. TFC R. POSSESSION OF CDS: 03/21/06 12:03 a.m. A vehicle traveling southbound on U.S. Rt. 301, north of Pierce Road, was stopped for speeding. Upon contact with the driver, William Early Daniels Jr., 19 years, of Clinton, an odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. After being questioned, Mr. Daniels retrieved suspected marijuana from the rear pocket of the passenger seat. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. Tpr. C.
