POSSESSION OF CDS: 03/04/06 1:30 a.m. A vehicle traveling northbound on U.S. Rt. 301, south of Sub-Station Road was stopped for the driver not wearing his seatbelt. The driver, Steven Donald Prather Sr., 34 years, of Brandywine, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. A search incident to arrest revealed suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Prather was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. TFC R. Lemerise conducted this investigation.
