Raymond McDowell Arrested for Driving Stolen ATV on Roadway

On 03/07/2006 at approximately 1700 hours, a four-wheel ATV was being driven on Three Notch Road in the area of Demko Road in Lexington Park. The driver took the ATV through private property to avoid begin stopped by law enforcement who had seen him operating on the roadway. The ATV became stuck in a pond. Deputy Shawn L. Moses responded to the location and it was determined that the ATV had been reported stolen in March of 2005. The driver, Raymond Edward McDowell, age 27 of Lexington Park, was subsequently charged with the theft in addition to traffic charges for operating the vehicle on the roadway.
