Burglary & Vehicle Crash in Charles County


BURGLARY: Sometime between 3:15 a.m. and 4:11 a.m. March 6, suspect(s) climbed onto a portable toilet and then onto the roof of Lamont's Bar, located at 4400 Livingston Road in Indian Head. The suspect(s) then entered the bar through a ventilation fan duct on the roof. The motion sensor alarm sounded and the suspect(s) fled through the front sliding window of the bar without stealing anything. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-743-2222. Officer C. W. Stufft is investigating.

DWI/MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH: On March 2 at 1:30 a.m., William Paul Gillogly, 74, began backing his Ford Crown Victoria out of his driveway in the 2100 block of Crest Circle in Bryans Road. He crossed Crest Circle and backed into the driveway across the street, where he struck an unoccupied Mazda Miata. Officers responded and found Gillogly was intoxicated. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol. He did not sustain any injuries.
