Man Assaulted & Left Unconscious in Waldorf Parking Lot


On March 3 at 11:55 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Memories at 2360 Old Washington Road in Waldorf for the report of an unconscious man lying in the parking lot. Officer and emergency medical services personnel responded and found a 34-year-old La Plata man with head injuries. The victim was flown to the Baltimore Shock Trauma Center. His injuries were serious but not life threatening and he was listed in stable condition. According to witnesses, the suspect, a 34-year-old White Plains man assaulted the victim and fled in a White Pontiac Gran Prix. The witness also advised the victim had assaulted the suspect three months ago during a pool game. Officer K. Klezia is investigating.
