ARMED ROBBERY: On March 4 about 8:30 p.m., a 56-year-old Waldorf man was walking from an apartment on Ell Lane in Waldorf. He went behind Village Square Shopping Center in the 3600 block of Leonardtown Road where two male suspects jumped in front of him and brandished handguns. They pointed the handguns at the victim and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from his wallet and fled on foot toward Ell Lane. Officers and a K9 team responded to the scene but did not locate the suspects. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-2222. ROBBERY: On March 3 at 8:50 p.m., a 33-year-old Waldorf man exited the Wendy's located at 2040 Crain Highway in the Pinefield Shopping Center in Waldorf. Another man confronted the victim and demanded the victim's jacket. The victim walked away from the suspect but the suspect grabbed the victim from behind. The victim turned around and punched the suspect. The suspect continued to hold onto the victim and the victim punched the suspect again. The suspect and the victim's jacket fell to the ground and the victim fled to the Charles County Sheriff's Office Waldorf District Station. Officers checked the parking lot of the shopping center but did not find the suspect or the victim's jacket. The victim did not sustain any injuries. ROBBERY: On March 3 about 6 p.m., a 16-year-old Brandywine girl was in Hecht's at the St. St. Charles Towne Center, located at 11110 Mall Circle in Waldorf, talking on her cell phone. Two male suspects approached her from behind. One of the stole her cell phone and punched her in her face. The suspects then fled the store and into the mall parking lot. The victim did not require medical treatment. The suspects are described as black males between 17 and 20 years old wearing white long sleeve shirts and blue jeans. One of the suspects is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and was wearing a black vest. His hair was long and in braids. The other suspect is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs between 220 and 240 pounds and was wearing a black hat and a green short sleeve shirt over his white shirt.
