Two Thefts in Calvert County


Theft

A utility trailer was stolen from the parking lot of the Solomons True Value Hardware store located at 20 Creston Lane sometime between February 19 and 21. The black trailer, a 2004 single axle Musgrave utility trailer, is 6 ½ feet wide by 10 feet long. The True Value logo is on the tongue of the trailer and on the fenders above the taillights. The loss value is $2,000.00. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Michael L. Davis of the CIT Division at 410-535-2800 ext. 2596.


Theft

On February 25 at approximately 9:46 p.m., Det./Cpl. Timothy Fridman responded to the Apex Theaters located at 200 Dares Beach Road West in Prince Frederick for a theft. The victim stated that she parked her vehicle at the rear of the theater at 7:30 that evening and went inside the theater. Upon returning to her vehicle at 9:40 p.m. she discovered her passenger side window smashed and her daughter’s purse missing. Damage is estimated at $300.00 and the loss value is $30.00. Cpl. Fridman will continue the investigation.
