Theft Under $500

On 02/14/06 Deputy M. Worry responded to the Target Department Store located in California, Maryland for the reported Theft. Investigation revealed Louisa P. Grant, age 71, of Valley Lee, Maryland had stolen various items from the business during two separate incidents valued at $418.00. Ms. Grant was placed under arrest by Deputy Worry, charged with 1 count of Theft Under $100 and 1 count of Theft Under $500, and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

Theft Over $500

On 02/14/06 Deputy J. Maletto responded to the area of Edgar Way, Lexington Park, Maryland for the reported Theft. Investigation revealed unknown Culprit(s) stole a S&M Model PBR Bicycle from a private residence on Edgar Way. The value of the bicycle was estimated at $700.00.

Warrant Service

On 02/14/06 Senior Deputy First Class S. Myers served an arrest warrant on Irvin E. Peters III, age 31, of Lexington Park, Maryland for Three counts of Failing to Appear in Circuit Court regarding Child Support. Mr. Peters was incarcerated in the Detention Center under No Bond.

Warrant Service

On 02/15/06 Dfc. B. Connelly initiated a vehicle stop in the area of Chaptico, Maryland. Upon conversing with the occupants and subsequent computer checks it was determined Antonio Deas, Age 44, of Ft. Washington, Maryland was wanted by the Calvert County Sheriff's Office on an outstanding Warrant for Violation of Probation. Mr. Deas was placed under arrest and released into the custody of the Calvert County Sheriff's Office for further disposition.
