SMECO Works to Restores Power to Customers


Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) is currently working to restore power to customer-members who were affected by the weekend’s snow storm. As of 8:30 a.m., approximately 1,400 customers are without power in the Charles-Prince George’s region, along with seven customers in Calvert, and three in St. Mary’s. The Co-op is expecting to have power restored to customers by the close of business today.
