Cocaine Arrest in Prince Frederick

On Thursday, February 2, the C.I.T. Division’s Narcotic Unit, assisted by members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Team (S.O.T.) executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on Arthur King Road in Prince Frederick. The warrant was issued based on information received by the Narcotic Unit that a subject living there was distributing cocaine from the residence. The accused, Barry Parran, 38, was observed standing next to a blue van. Parran was searched and found to have suspected cocaine in his possession. A check of the residence and surrounding area revealed a stolen vehicle and seven guns, which were seized. Parran was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft of a motor vehicle.
