Masked Bandit Robs Waldorf Cluck-U-Chicken

On Feb. 1 at 8:48 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Cluck-U-Chicken at 183C St. Patrick's Drive in Waldorf for a panic assistance alarm. Upon arrival, officers learned that a man entered the business, approached the counter, covered his face with a ski mask and placed an order. While the clerk was completing the order, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The clerk complied and the man fled the business on a yellow BMX-style bicycle with silver rims toward Lancaster.

Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect. He is described as a dark-complexioned black male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black ski mask with a Dallas Cowboys logo on it and black gloves. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-609-6515. Det. J. Elliott is investigating.
