BURGLARY: During the overnight hours of 1-24, an unknown culprit entered a detached garage on Whispering Dr., Prince Frederick, and removed 2 Suzuki bikes, 2 Honda bikes, and a Kawasaki bike. Property loss is estimated at $22,100.00. TPR Mounts is handling the investigation.
ATTEMPTED MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: During the overnight hours of 1-27, an unknown culprit attempted to steal a van from a driveway on Helena Dr., Prince Frederick. TPR Dawson is handling the investigation.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE/MARIJUANA: On 1-26, 11:20 PM, TPR Tillett observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the Lyons Creek Shopping Center, Rt. 260, Dunkirk. Upon contact with the occupants, a computer check revealed that both men were wanted on open warrants. Incident to their arrests, suspected marijuana and cocaine were seized. Arrested at that time were Robert Michael Morris, 28, of North Beach, for possession of marijuana, and Ernest Arnold Hutchinson, 29, of Prince Frederick, for possession of marijuana and cocaine. After processing, they were incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 1-29, 2:11 AM, Rt. 2/4, Prince Frederick, TFC Murphy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. TFC Johns arrived on the scene to assist. The operator, Ciro Albanil Cruz, 25, of Chambersburg, PA, was subsequently arrested for DUI. Incident to arrest, 2 baggies of suspected cocaine were found on his person. Mr. Cruz was charged with possession of cocaine and transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On 1-29, 5:10 AM, Church St., Prince Frederick, TPR Ewig stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator, Michael Anthony Lester, 44, of Upper Marlboro, was found to be driving on a revoked license. Incident to arrest, a CDS smoking device containing suspected cocaine was located in the vehicle. Mr. Lester was transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack and submitted to a field sobriety test, which he failed. He was charged with DUI and possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. He was then incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing.
