Man Dies After 25-Foot Fall from House Roof in Bryans Road


On Jan. 31 at 10:13 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers and emergency medical services personnel responded to a residence under construction in the 5900 block of River Road in Bryans Road for the report of an accidental injury. Upon arrival, officers found James Harvey, 60, of Riverdale, Md., suffering life-threatening injuries he sustained after falling 25 feet from the roof of the house. Harvey was flown by a Maryland State Police helicopter to Prince George's Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 11:35 a.m. There are no suspicions of foul play. Officer S.
