The More Armed Robberies in Waldorf


ARMED ROBBERY: On Jan. 22 at approximately 10 p.m., two male suspects approached an 18-year-old Waldorf man in the 3000 block of Palmer Place in Waldorf, brandished a handgun, ordered the victim to the ground and demanded his wallet. The suspects stole the victim's wallet and fled west on foot on Smallwood Drive. The victim notified police about two hours later. He was not injured. Anyone with information about this investigating is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer K. Evans is investigating.

ARMED ROBBERY: On Jan. 20 at 4 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Donut Connection at 3480 Leonardtown Road in Waldorf for the reported armed robbery. Investigation revealed four male suspects entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, a 40-year-old woman. The clerk complied and the suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects are described as black males wearing black clothing, ski masks and gloves. They may have fled in an older-model brown Lincoln sedan that was last seen northbound on Leonardtown Road. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer C. Clevenger is investigating.

ARMED ROBBERY: On Jan. 19 at 10:18 p.m. Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of Woodside Place in Waldorf for the report of a domestic argument. Investigation revealed a 34-year-old woman arrived home at the residence and found a 42-year-old man waiting for her. The man confronted the woman on the doorstep, brandished a knife and ordered her inside. The man then ordered the woman to open her safe. She complied and he stole an undisclosed amount of money. The man then took the woman's car keys and left the residence. Officers arrived as he attempted to leave in her car. When officers attempted to detain him, he became combative. He was arrested and charged with armed robbery, first degree assault, second degree assault, theft and motor vehicle theft. Both the victim and accused reside together at the home. Officer R. Kimble investigated.
