Detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations, continuing the investigation into a recent armed robbery, located the last suspect sought in the crime. Jermaine Dewitt Dyson (Age 28, of Lexington Park) was located Friday morning. Detectives established a location where Suspect Dyson was staying in Lexington Park and a Search and Seizure Warrant was obtained for that residence. The execution of the warrant led to the recovery of numerous items of evidence, including a handgun.
Also recovered was an amount of crack cocaine and marijuana. Detectives previously recovered a bank check valued at $50,000.00. Suspect Dyson was out on a $75,000.00 bond, for charges that stemmed from an unrelated First Degree Assault at the time this offense was committed. He was awaiting a hearing before the District Court Commissioner at the time of this release.
