The Bureau of Criminal Investigations received information that Suspect Robert Michael Sullivan (Age 45 of Lexington Park, Maryland) was secretly video taping a juvenile female in the nude. The unknowing victim discovered the surveillance device and contacted a family member. Road Officers responded to the residence and the investigation was turned over to BCI detectives.
Detectives received a Search and Seizure Warrant for the Suspect’s home and numerous items of computer equipment, accessories and surveillance paraphernalia were seized. Detectives were assisted by members of the Innocent Images Task Force as well as the Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC) Task Force. All items seized will be reviewed by the ICAC Computer Forensic Detectives for evidentiary value. The Suspect was arrested and charged with felony child abuse-sexual, and is currently being held on $25,000.00 cash bond.
