The Charles County Sheriff's Office and Charles County Crime Solvers asking the public for help in identifying two men who were captured on video surveillance equipment committing an armed robbery at a local 7-Eleven.
The robbery occurred Dec. 19 at 2:15 a.m. A man entered the convenience store, located at 1065 St. Ignatius Drive in Waldorf, and asked the clerk for a job application. He then signaled to another man who was outside. The second man entered the business, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied and the two men fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not injured. A K9 team responded and conducted a track, which led to a parking lot across the street.
The Sheriff's Office has released a photograph obtained from surveillance equipment and is asking the public for help in identifying the two men.
