Two Teens Arrested for Car Theft; Drugs Found in Vehicle

On Dec. 23 at 10:30 p.m., Sgt. T. Verdiglione was at Chaney Enterprises at 12130 Acton Lane in Waldorf when he observed a 2005 Nissan Altima drive onto the property. Investigation revealed it was reported stolen on Dec. 22 in Bryans Road. Sgt. Verdiglione stopped the vehicle and arrested the occupants, Guy Wedding II, 18, of Welcome and a 16-year-old Indian Head boy. A search of the vehicle revealed they were in possession of marijuana. They were both charged with motor vehicle theft and possession of marijuana. Further investigation revealed the boy was wanted on an adult circuit court warrant, which officers served. Wedding and the juvenile are being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending appearances before the District Court Commissioner.
