On Dec. 26 at 1:15 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to JSB Apartments at 2165 Crain Highway in Waldorf for an armed person report. Upon arrival, officers observed a person matching the suspect's description run into the breezeway with an object in his hand. Officers stopped the man and found a pellet gun under the stairs in the breezeway. The suspect said another man who implied he had a gun had just robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money in the parking lot. After the robbery, the man retrieved the pellet gun and returned to the parking lot to look for the suspect. The armed robbery suspect is described only as a tall black male.
