Assault 2nd Degree

On 12/09/05 Dfc. R. Merritt responded to the area of Horseshoe Rd. Chaptico, Md. for the reported Disturbance. Investigation revealed two brothers were involved in a physical altercation. A 13 year old Juvenile was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree and released to his parent pending further action by juvenile authorities. Investigation continues and an additional arrest is pending.

Theft Under $100

On 12/09/05 Dfc. J. Molitor responded to the McKay's Food and Drug Store, Lexington Park for the reported Theft. Investigation revealed a 17 year old female from Lexington Park entered the establishment and placed several items in a back pack and attempted to exit the store without paying for the items. The Juvenile was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with Theft Under $100. The Juvenile was released to a guardian pending further action by juvenile authorities.

Property Destruction

On 12/09/05 Sdfc.S. Myers responded to a business on North Coral Drive, Lexington Park for the report of a Property Destruction. Investigation revealed unknown Culprit(s) threw a piece of cement through the front window causing the window to break. Entry was made into the business and nothing appeared to have been removed. Damage was estimated at $800.

Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries

On 12/09/05 Dfc. J. Molitor responded to a Motor vehicle Accident with injuries in the area of the Wawa on Great Mill's Rd., Lexington Park, Md. Investigation revealed the operator of a 1995 Acura was exiting the parking lot of the Wawa and failed to yield to a 1996 Dodge Caravan which was traveling West on Great Mill's Rd. The operator of the 1995 Acura was transported to St. Mary's Hospital by the Lexington Park Rescue Squad with Non-Life Threatening injuries.
