On Dec. 3 at 4:20 p.m., Officer C. Shaw responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Pilgram Square in Waldorf for the theft report. Investigation revealed a 30-year-old Waldorf woman's Maryland registration plates were stolen. Later that day, the victim observed her tags on a neighbor's car. Officer D. Gross responded and investigation revealed Maurice Anthony Givens, 27, of Waldorf was charged with theft less than $100 and is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
