On Dec. 1 at 7:38 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Penny's Tavern at 4975 Hawthorne Road in Indian Head for a suspicious person report. Muschette was charged with resisting arrest, two counts of second degree assault, possession of cocaine and malicious destruction of property. He is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner. The officers sustained minor injuries.
