Destruction of Property
DFC. D. Denton went to Knight Ave in the Cavalier Country Subdivision in Dunkirk on Nov. 19 at 8:49 in the morning to investigate the report of four vehicles being egged during the nighttime hours. None of the victims reported hearing or seeing anything unusual the night before. This case remains under investigation.
Thefts
Thirty-five gallons of gas was siphoned from a boat docked at Breezy Point Marina sometime between Nov. 19 at 7:00 p.m. and Nov. 20 at 4:00 a.m. Dep. J. Bonville reports the victim stated that he filled his boats gas tank at 7:00 p.m. on November 19 and returned at 4:00 a.m. on the 20th to find that approximately 35 gallons had been stolen. The boat and fuel tank were checked for leaks, but none were found. Anyone having any information regarding this theft is asked to call Dep. Bonville at the Calvert County Sheriffs Office.
Dep. W. R. Milam investigated a theft on 11/19/05 at 8:00 p.m. of a Sirius satellite radio from a vehicle on Long Beach Road in St. Leonard. The vehicle was parked in the victims driveway, but was unlocked. The theft occurred sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. the same day. Approximately $15.00 in coins was also taken. Dep. Milam will continue to investigate this case.
On November 21 DFC. M. McCarroll responded to Sam Owings Place in Owings for the report of a theft. Sometime overnight between 11/20 at 9:30 p.m. and 11/21 at 10:00 a.m. an unknown suspect entered the open garage of a home and stole golf sporting equipment and work tools with a combined value of over $2000. The victims stated they did not hear anything. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC. McCarroll at 410-535-2800.
Burglary
Dep. J. Bonville responded to Olivet Road in Lusby on 11/21 in reference to a burglary. The victim advised that sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on that same day, their house had been broken into. A safe containing currency was reported missing. Dep. Bonville continues the investigation.
Theft
A victim on Dancer Court in Lusby reported that sometime between 11/20 at 8:30 p.m. and 11/231 at 6:30 a.m. an unknown suspect stole $15 in currency from her vehicle which was parked, unlocked, in her driveway. Deputy E. Carter is investigating.
CDS Violation
Three men were arrested on November 23 after an anonymous call to the Calvert Control Center reporting that they were acting suspiciously in the parking area of the Dunkirk WaWa. DFC. M.P. Naecker observed the suspect vehicle and made contact with the driver and two passengers. DFC. Naecker was assisted by Cpl. A. Moschetto and Dep. V. Bortchevsky of the CCSO and TFC. A. Washington of the MSP. After a consensual search of the vehicle, Mohammed Soumah, 19, of Frederick, Gabriel Loube, 19, of Lusby and Raffaele Simpson, 21, also of Lusby, were arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
Destruction of Property
Unknown suspects spray-painted graffiti on the bathrooms at Breezy Point Beach. The damage was discovered by a grounds man who said the time frame appeared to be sometime between November 17 and November 23. The damage is estimated at $350.00 and is being investigated by DFC. R. Figueiras.
Motor Vehicle Thefts
Dep. J. Smith responded to Country Road in Dunkirk for the report of a motor vehicle theft on Nov.24th at 5:20 p.m. The victim reported that he had been out of the area for a few days and when he returned, he noticed that his 1991 Ford Truck was missing. Dep. Smith is investigating the theft.
On Nov. 27 at approximately 10:20 in the morning, DFC. R. Wilson responded to Calvert Pines Senior Center in Prince Frederick for the report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim stated that her red 1995 Ford Crown Victoria was missing after she had parked and locked it the previous evening at 5:30 p.m. DFC. Wilson continues the investigation.
