2 Armed Bandits Rob Dunkirk 7-11


Members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack were dispatched to the 7-11 Store in Dunkirk on Wednesday, November 30 at 1:23 in the morning for a reported robbery. Det. Joe Angle of the CIT Division arrived and spoke with the victim, who stated that two black males entered the store through the front doors and threatened him with a handgun. They then stole various cartons of cigarettes and candy from the front sales counter and fled the area northbound on Md. Route 4 in an older model gray Oldsmobile car. No customers were in the store at the time and there were no injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Angle at 410-535-2800.
