State Police Blotter - Charles County


THEFT: 11/18/05 1:30 p.m. A Maryland trailer tag, #842865G, was stolen from a trailer while it was parked at a residence in the 9500 block of Sharon Avenue. TFC S. Johnson is conducting this investigation.

ASSAULT: 11/19/05 4:13 p.m. While at the Van Go parking lot in Waldorf, Troy Derrell Washington, 37 years, of Prince Frederick, assaulted a female, 38 years, of Prince Frederick, by biting her in the face. Mr. Washington was arrested and charged with second degree assault. He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. TFC J. Edelen conducted this investigation.

POSSESSION OF CDS: 11/27/05 12:25 a.m. A vehicle traveling on Mattawoman-Beantown Road at Pinefield Road was stopped for the operator not wearing his seat belt. Upon contact with the driver, an odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the passenger in the vehicle, Cody Lamar Hizer, 19 years, of Waldorf. Mr. Hizer was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. Tpr. W.
