On 11/20/05 Sdfc. K. Somerville Investigated a reported Domestic Assault.
The victim states she and the suspect, Corey L. Hanson, Age 22, of Mechanicsville, Maryland were involved in a verbal altercation at which time the suspect began assaulting the victim numerous times. The suspect then refused the victims repeated requests to leave the residence and began assaulting the victim again. The suspect continued to refuse to allow the victim to leave the residence. The victim was able to leave the residence, after the suspect fell asleep, and call police.
The suspect was located at the residence, placed under arrest, incarcerated in the Detention Center and Charged with Assault 2nd Degree and False Imprisonment.
Corey Hanson is currently awaiting an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
