On Nov. 15 at 12:19 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a residence in the 3100 block of Knolewater Court in Waldorf for an intrusion alarm.
Upon arrival, Officer D. Gross encountered the suspect near the front door of the residence. The suspect ran through the residence to a back window on the second story of the house, where he jumped out and fled into the woods. Officers, including two K9 teams, established a perimeter and searched for the suspect but could not locate him.
Nothing appeared to have been stolen from the residence.
The suspect is described as a black male between 5 feet 9 inches tall and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He is between 15 and 23 years of age and was wearing a blue jean jacket with gray sleeves.
