On Oct. 26 about 8:30 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a residence in the Northwood subdivision in Waldorf for the report of a sexual assault.
Investigation revealed three juvenile males entered the residence and raped a 14-year-old girl who resides there. The males then fled the scene.
Detectives responded to conduct the investigation and identified the suspects as Piera Sterling Barbour, 15, Tyree Rakeen Grimes, 16, and Jared Michael Revell, 17, all of Waldorf. The accused and the victim are acquaintances.
Detectives obtained warrants for the accused, who were arrested Nov. 11 and 12 at their respective residences. They are charged as adults with first degree rape, first degree assault, first degree burglary and other sex offenses. A judge ordered them held without bond at a bond review Nov. 14. They remain incarcerated at the Charles County Detention Center.
