On Nov. 6 at 6 p.m., Officer W. Halt responded to a residence in the 12500 block of Idlewood Park Road in Waldorf for the threats and harassment report.
Investigation revealed a 28-year-old man attempted to run over a 33-year-old woman and 12-year-old girl with his vehicle. The man also brandished a knife and threatened one of the victims and threw rocks at one of the victims.
The rocks struck the victim and a window at the residence, causing it to break. The man also damaged a fence. The incident was the result of a domestic dispute.
The woman sustained a minor injury and did not require medical attention. The man was charged with two counts of first- and second- degree assault and malicious destruction of property. He is being held at the Charles County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
